Company Background
Our client is a national trade promotion office, providing
business related services to that country's entrepreneurs and business in China. With offices in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as
Hong Kong, it is looking to set up a branch in Guangzhou.
Job duties
- Reporting directly to the General Manager Hong Kong and the Head of
the Office in Beijing
- Responsible for setting up an office in Guangzhou
- Organising and accompanying visiting business men and official
delegations to the region
- Organising seminars covering the country concerned for Chinese
officials and companies
Job requirements
- Either sex, aged early 30's to mid 40's
- Preferably a university graduate in engineering or business
administration although relevant experience is more important
- At least five years work experience and preferably more either with
a joint venture or foreign company
- Excellent business sense and the ability to "make connections" are vital
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and
responsibly and must have a high level of self-confidence and excellent
communications skills
- Very good working English, native Mandarin or Cantonese and a very
good command of the other language is required
